Patients aged one year and above who have an infected insect bite can receive support and treatment through our Pharmacy First service.
If the bite area is red, itchy, tender or swollen, visit Green Street Pharmacy for a private consultation with our pharmacist.

About Infected Insect Bites
Common symptoms of an insect bite or sting include:
- Pain at the site of the bite or sting
- A small, swollen lump on the skin
- Redness around the area (this may be harder to see on black or brown skin, but the lump should still be felt)
